Hommage à Jean-Paul Cussac
Jean-Paul is a French engineer with whom I had the pleasure of working for a decade (1999 – 2008). After more than 10 years in Finance, where you often react to facts and news, Jean-Paul taught me how to work in the industrial sector. Mainly he showed me that success is related to preparedness and anticipation. His motto: “il faut être devant” (you need to be ahead of the curve). When confronted with an inextricable news and wondering how the company would survive, Jean-Paul would coolly say: “ it’s when it gets tough, that it gets interesting “. My mentor in the industrial world, Jean-Paul has inspired me a lot and everything he has taught me can be applied to all walks of Life.
